From twins to octuplets, parents of more than one bundle of joy are being invited to a new session at All Saints Sure Start Children’s Centre.

The twins and multiple births group, is a new drop in session being run every Friday afternoon, from 1 to 2.30pm, at the centre on Magpie Hall Road, Chatham.

With a range of games and activities for the children to enjoy, the group offers families a chance to relax and chat to other parents, whether they have twins, triplets or more.

Staff will also be able to offer advice about a range of issues, such as breastfeeding or weaning, sleeping batters or behavioural issues.

Eileen Braham, Playlink Coordinator at the centre, said: “Parenting twins or multiples can bring some rewarding and really memorable experiences, but can also be quite overwhelming.

“Our aim is provide an environment where parents can play with their children and chat to other mums and dads, while staff will be on hand to answer any questions and offer practical help for many common issues experienced by parents of twins or more.”

The group is completely free and is open to children from 0 to 5 years old. Parents or carers are welcome to come along, whether it’s just to pop in or for the entire session,.
