The Lightning Seeds have been announced as the support act for Squeeze at the Castle Concerts’ opening gig on Wednesday, 13 July.

The Lightning Seeds were formed in Liverpool in 1989 by Ian Broudie, and had early hits with ‘The Life of Riley’ and ‘Sense’.
The band toured extensively worldwide and had more hits with ‘Perfect’, ‘Marvellous’ and ‘Lucky You’.

They will be playing an acoustic set at the concert.

Last year they were special guests of Squeeze on a 22 date tour and they’re looking forward to being reunited with Glen, Chris and the others.

Tickets for the show are selling fast but some are still available at £32.50 by calling in person at The Central Theatre or The Brook Theatre box offices in Chatham, Medway Visitor Information Centre, 95 High Street, Rochester, by phone on 338338 or online at http://www.castleconcerts.co.uk.
