Fans of the thriller writer Gerald Seymour are in for a treat next month when the British author comes to Chatham Library.

The former ITN reporter and novelist will talk about his career in journalism, his writing and his latest book, A Deniable Death, which is published on 4 August.

Librarian Richard Pemberton will host the interview with Gerald who was a reporter with ITN for 15 years, covering events in Vietnam, Borneo, the Munich Olympics, Israel and Northern Ireland.

Gerald has been a full time writer since 1978 and six of his thrillers have been filmed for TV. His explosive first novel Harry’s Game, set in Northern Ireland, has become a modern classic.

Gerald will be at Chatham Library at 7.30pm on Thursday, 11 August.
