From free holidays to cheap driveways – the way confidence tricksters work will be brought to life on stage in Medway next month by professional actors.

“Too good to be true” and “Trickster”, by the Solomon Theatre, are described as energetic musicals which delivers hard hitting messages.

“Too Good To Be True” features ‘Mary’ who’s told she’s won the holiday of a lifetime and ‘Sydney’ the victim of a dodgy driveway offer.

“Trickster” is based on a true story and follows ‘George’ a former soldier who is the victim of a distraction burglar and battles to beat the conmen.

“This is an excellent way of delivering hard hitting messages and helping Medway residents so they don’t fall for the tricks of unscrupulous criminals”, said Councillor Mike O’Brien, the authority’s portfolio holder for community safety.

“Trickster” is on November 22 at 7pm at the Corn Exchange in Rochester and on November 23 at 7pm at Age Concern, Woodlands Rd in Gillingham.
