Investigate the difference between thriller and crime writing at a workshop and author talk next month (March).

Scriptwriter and author Danny Miller will host a scriptwriter’s workshop at Strood Library Hall on Thursday, 1 March at 3pm.

Danny will draw on his experience and knowledge to lead this creative and informative workshop.

Later that day (Thursday, 1 March), Danny Miller will be joined by fellow author Emlyn Rees at an author talk at Rochester Community Hub. The talk, entitled Under Investigation – Crime and Thriller Writing, the authors will read from their books, talk about their respective careers and discuss the differences between crime and thriller writing.

Danny Miller is the author of two books – Kiss me Quick and The Gilded Edge. He has also worked as a scriptwriter for BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Emlyn Rees is the author of two novels and seven comedies. His latest book, Hunted, is the first in a series of thriller novels.
