Talk or “duopolylogue” by Professor Tony Pointon & Susan Healey titled “Dickens and Mothers in Law ”

The next meeting of the Rochester and Chatham Dickens Fellowship is on Thursday the 19th of April 7.15 for a 7.30 start. The meeting is in the Education Room of Dickens World in Chatham include s a talk by Professor Tony Pointon & Susan Healey. Non Members are welcome for a small fee. Susan is Chairman of the Dickens Fellowship Birthplace Branch, Portsmouth, Member of the Charles Dickens Statue Committee, an actress, a graduate in Theatre Arts from Santa Cruz, home of the Dickens Universe at which she has lectured.

Tony is a Chartered Engineer and Physicist and has been the Director of Research at the University of Portsmouth, a Government-appointed member of ACAS and Chairman of the International Dickens Fellowship Council. He is active in both branches of the Dickens Fellowship in Portsmouth which will be hosting the International Dickens Fellowship Bicentenary Conference there in August 2012. He is also Assistant Editor of Mr Dick’s Kite and author “The Man Who Was Never Shakespeare”.
