With the summer holidays fast approaching, the dreaded phrase ‘I’m bored’ is inevitable. But not this year, as London’s first outdoor trapeze school – Gorilla Circus, will be setting up its second full size trapeze rig in the heart of the iconic Battersea Park from 1st August. This will be in addition to their current site in Regents Park. Their newest site will be bigger, broader and even more exhilarating, standing a whole meter taller than the first site. Flying Trapeze is the ultimate thrill seeking activity for the whole family from age 8 to 78 this summer.

The site is located in the midst of some of London’s most famed landmarks. It sits in the shadows of Battersea Power Station, and minutes from the renowned Millennium Athletics Arena, an official Olympic training and preparation venue. Come and watch athletes prepare for the games from above as you fly through the air.

With all eyes on London this summer in the run up to the Olympic Games 2012, we are expecting to see a huge influx of tourists and visitors to London and the surrounding areas. The importance of sport and physical activity is being emphasized around the world, trying to generate interest particularly from school children.

Specialising in Grand Volant Flying Trapeze, Gorilla Circus is London’s only outdoor trapeze school. Offering a two-hour drop in class, presenting customers the opportunity to practice a simple trick, or longer lessons and four-week courses enabling you to improve skills and progress to an intermediate level, packages will be tailored to your specific needs.

What better way to see some of London’s most beautiful scenery than a flying trapeze, offering flyers a view of the city from the air?
