Medway Music Society

Congratulations to this year’s President of the Medway Music Society, Jack McDonnell, who recently won a music prize.

The ceremony, which took place in the University’s Colyer-Fergusson music building on the Canterbury campus, takes place each year to recognise contributions from outstanding students towards the musical life of the University. This year, final-year Music Technology student Jack won the University Music Awards Committe Prize in recognition of his tireless work in promoting music and society activities on the Medway campus.

It’s been a great year for music at Medway, and with the new Executive committee in place, the weather looks set fair for more musical endeavours next year! We’ll be chatting with the new Medway Music Society President, Garrick Wareham, later in the week: stay tuned…
