Two of this year’s Rochester Castle Concerts have now completely sold out, so anyone looking forward to going along to the other two should book without delay.

Tickets are sold out for legendary rockers Status Quo, who will kick off this year’s concerts on Wednesday 17 July, and Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley with ABC and Go West will get the 80s Night party started with a capacity audience on Friday 19 July.

Tickets are still available but selling fast for one of Britain’s biggest boy bands, The Wanted, who will are set to storm the concerts stage on Thursday, 18 July. Following their Medway debut alongside the Saturdays in 2010, Max, Nathan, Tom, Jay and Siva will be back in town with their ferociously infectious tunes, including All Time Low and Glad You Came, plus tracks from their new album Third Strike. The supporting acts will be The Vamps and AME.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and special guests will bring a sublime summer evening of classical music to the idyllic setting of the Castle Gardens on Saturday, 20 July. The Castle Proms will feature guest soprano Laura Wright and the Hertfordshire Chorus choir, along with a rousing programme of flag waving favourites including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and the 1812 Overture, a special spitfire fly past and the traditional spectacular fireworks finale.
