The WantedThe full line up of acts supporting The Wanted at this year’s Castle Concerts is now complete. Max, Nathan, Tom, Jay and Siva will storm the stage at Rochester’s Castle Gardens with their ferociously infectious tunes, including All Time Low and Glad You Came, plus tracks from their new album Third Strike. Tickets are still available but selling fast for the show, which takes place on Thursday, 18 July.

AME (1)Supporting the boys will be A*M*E who recently was at No. 1 in the UK singles chart, and The Vamps, who have already generated a massive following via YouTube, with 187,465 subscribers on the site. Their cover of One Direction’s Live While We’re Young turned them into an internet sensation with more than 300,000 views in just one week and they are currently supporting McFly on a UK tour. Completing the line-up will be YouTube sensations Only The Young and vocalist James Graham, who wowed the crowds in support of Steps last year and is signed to Pete Waterman’s record label.

Tickets for two of this year’s Castle Concerts, Status Quo and 80s Night, are now completely sold out, so anyone looking forward to going along to the other two should book without delay. This year’s concert series ends with a Vamps PR shotflag waving flourish, as The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and special guests bring a sublime summer evening of classical music to the Castle Gardens. The Castle Proms programme will begin with a special spitfire fly past and end with the traditional spectacular fireworks finale.

Tickets cost £35 for The Wanted and £30 for the Castle Proms, and are available in person at The Central Theatre Box Office, The Brook Theatre Box Office and Medway Visitor Information Centre, by phone on 01634 338338 or online at http://www.castleconcerts.co.uk
