Primavera Chamber ensemble will be performing at 3:15 on the 11th of November at Cobham Hall, their reputation as one of the finest chamber ensembles in the UK today is confirmed by many of the reviews they have had.

On the 11th you will be able to hear the following pieces performed; Suk – Elegie, Mendelssohn – Piano Trio No 2 in C minor, Op 66, Schubert – Piano Trio No 1 in B flat, D 898.

Cobham Hall dates from the 16th century and is arguably one of the finest country houses in Kent. The concert will be performed in the Gilt Hall, this was converted into a music room during the 1770s. Its grey and amber marble, minstrel galleries and gilt plasterwork make it the perfect setting for this concert and all combine to give excellent acoustics. More

On Saturday 31st March at 7.30 p.m. Maidstone Choral Union, conducted by Martin Hindmarsh, will be giving a concert at  All Saints Church, Maidstone.  The main work will be Mozart’s Requiem, but the programme will also include his Ave Verum  and concert arias and choruses.  The soloists will be Emily Rowley – Jones, Soprano; Jennifer Westwood,  Alto;  Alex Wall, Tenor and James Birchall, Baritone.

All seats are priced at £10.00.  They are unreserved, but tickets may be booked in advance from the Ticket Secretary,  phone 01622 726193  Wine, fruit juice, tea and coffee will be available during the interval.  You may like to bring a cushion…
