British Fencing has announced that that this year’s Cadet and Junior GB Championships will be held at Medway Park on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February. This is the first time that this event has been held at Medway’s centre for sporting excellence and everyone is welcome to come and watch the event. More

Medway schools have celebrated their best ever GCSE and A level results for another year, according to results released by the Department for Education.

The provisional results, released by the DfE this morning, reveal that more Medway students have gained five or more GCSE (or equivalent) A* to C grades than ever before – and if the validated results remain similar to these provisional, it will place Medway in the top 20 per cent nationally. More
