Back Camera A free Pregnancy Information evening will be held at Temple Mill Children’s Centre in Strood on Monday, 8 July.

The event will be held in celebration of the 6th birthday of the National Children’s Trust’s Early Pregnancy Evening.

The evenings are run bi-monthly and give advice and information on a wide range of subjects, including reflexology, nutrition, baby massage, water birth, midwifery, health visitors, baby sensory and much more.

The event is free to enter and families who attend will also be given a free goody bag.

Following the success of similar events at children’s centres across Medway, All Saints, based on Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, will be holding its first pregnancy evening for Medway mums to be on Thursday, 19 April from 6 to 8pm.

From breastfeeding and baby massage to knowing the benefits you are entitled to as a parent, the evening is aimed at providing a complete package of information for expectant parents throughout pregnancy.

The sessions will also include free treatments, demonstrations and information covering a range of areas from waterbirths and pregnancy yoga to reflexology and homeopathy.

Health visitors and midwives will also be on hand to offer expert advice to parents at all stages of pregnancy, whether it’s specific information or an informal chat you’re after.
