A gallery talk by Pam Wood on the stories and history of Chatham Convict Prison

Please enter through the main gate on Dock Road as opposed to the ‘Visitor Entrance’.
Parking available next to the gallery by the side of the river.

The Vegetarian Society’s cookery school, Cordon Vert, is pleased to announce the finalists for its Chef of the Future 2013 competition. The live final, on Wednesday 8 May, will see four contestants from Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Hampshire and Suffolk battle it out to produce a three course meal, plated for four people, within three hours. This exhibition is reminiscence about local shops and stores, with photographs, advertisements and history of some of Medway’s best-loved stores. Featuring Leonards, Bates, Featherstones, the Lefevre stores and many others.
Window-shopping in Medway: Department stores remembered is the subject of a talk on Wednesday, 5 December at 2.30pm.
