The RSPCA have reported an alarming increase in animals being abandoned across England and Wales.

In the last year, the RSPCA were called out to rescue more than 37,000 abandoned animals and received a call asking for help every 30 seconds. More

Free information sessions on the government’s changes to welfare will be available for Medway’s social housing tenants throughout March. Staff from Medway Council’s Welfare Reform Team will be on hand at various Medway locations to provide information and advice on the changes which will come into effect in the coming months. More

Medway Council has agreed to form a Medway Disabled Residents’ Forum following a full meeting of the council on Thursday, 18 October. Following questions raised by a member of the public the decision received unanimous backing at the meeting. More
