Volunteers from the Rochester and Chatham Dickens Fellowship in Victorian costume will attend the RSPB Country Fair. The fair is on Sunday 7th August between 11 am to 5 pm at RSPB Northward Hill, Bromhey Farm, Cooling, Kent, ME3 8DS. Traditional English country fair with crafts, stalls and above all, great home made cakes and refreshments. R&CDF Members will talk with visitors and answer questions about Charles Dickens and his connection with the area. Dickens book Great Expectations was set in the area surrounding the RSPB site. R&CDF are also providing Roman Solders and site staff WW2 characters. As well as Charles Dickens, the RSPB site also has Roman and WW2 connections.
